State Board for Interstate Juvenile Supervision
The purpose of the State Advisory Board is to advise and advocate on behalf of the State of Wisconsin in the participation of Interstate Commission activities and other duties as may be determined, including but not limited to, development of a protocol for the operations and procedures of the Compact within this state; provide dispute resolution between the Compact Administrator's office and the counties over the administration of the Compact and the rules for interstate juvenile supervision within the structure of the National Commission, provide representation and collaboration among the various stakeholders in Wisconsin; make decisions and take actions allowed by law or rule of the National Interstate Commission for Juveniles or the Wisconsin Compact; and otherwise fulfill the intent of the Compact in the best interests of Wisconsin and the juvenile justice system.
