PROGRAMS

In Keeping with the philosophy of the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and the Wisconsin Correctional Center System, the Center makes available meaningful work opportunities for inmates. Inmates are assigned to various work assignments that teach work experience including center jobs, farm work, project crew, off-grounds for non-profit or local governments and work release. These assignments help inmates assume the responsibilities expected of them as citizens of the community. Sanger B. Powers protects the public by providing safe, secure and humane treatment with opportunities to practice work skills needed to support a crime-free lifestyle upon release to the community.
